So i was reading the uncanny Xmen Essentials volume one yesterday and i got to issue 4 (i just got this for my birthday)

I get about 4 pages into it and find out Mastermind use to have a "bone on" for the Scarlett Witch.

Wouldn't it be some shit is all you Mastermind conspiracy theorists were right and he's doing this to spite the girl that never loved him and the mutants who all hate him?

I think that would be great....it's still only a theory though.

Well, I think the solicits have said at one point "the Mastermind behind the events of Disassembled"

I just would hate to see yet another obvious ending telegraphed, especially when it's yet another X-men villian responsible.

I mean, at what point does Marvel up and decide mutants are becoming TOO much of a headache and wipe them out?

It's the bad writers who make mutants a headache. Marvel should wipe them out instead.

Isn't that the whole point behind house of M ? LOL I heard on this board that their gonna get rid of the excess garbage in mutant world with the events of the house of M.

I dunno, i liked him but I think he should stay dead. Too many characters keep coming back from the dead.

One problem I can think of with that theory.
Of course, it could have been retconned.
