thats weird. dont they usually switch sunny and some other channel thats in the 20s to christmas music?
Okay, mock my horrid taste if you must, but the XM channel I listen to the most is 82. The System. Soulless techno music. It helps me think, I work well to it, it's great background noise for whatever.
Only... it seems to have been taken over yesterday and today (and now I'm guessing for the weekend) by Christmas music. None of the other channels I listen to have this problem, and XM has something like 100 channels. Why the hell would they take over THIS one to play X-mas music?![]()

Because christmas music is also soulless background noise?![]()
This is my first holiday season with XM. I would assume they'd do that though, or even open up some kind of seasonal channel just for that purpose.Originally Posted by B-Rose

I'm trying to remember what they did last year. Didnt they take over like 4 channels for continuous xmas music till after new years?
I guess you'll have to switch over to the BPM channel. I'm starting to notice that I'm not liking Ethel as much as I used to either. Dont know if they are doing a programming change or what.
The future is Sirius!
Switch now or be conquered!![]()
The banner on my MyFi says "Special X-Mas," which gives me the impression that it's a limited thing. But since it's only the day after Thanksgiving, I'm guessing I might be in this boat till next year. Urgh.Originally Posted by Merle, Son of Boobah

They're great when driving at night and trying to stay awake.
There's only going to be a handful on Howard's show when it starts up Jan 9th.Originally Posted by Merle, Son of Boobah
Besides the extra $, it'll allow them to take short breaks.
Nothing at all like the 22 minutes an hour he has to run on terrestrial radio!
