How old were you when you read it? I think it was one of those "really speaks to you at a certain point in your life" books. I bonded with it in my early 20s. Not sure it would do much for me now, in my early 30s.

Catcher in the Rye is the best god damn book ever written. If you thought it was boring, please read it again. The shit is funny. His observations are so right on.

I've read the fuck up and it's good.

I'll have to pick up the others (I've heard of them). Those type of books are along the lines of Bukowsi. Gotta read those.

I mean, Catcher is pretty old school.

I think these are better. But they are in the same vein (or vain).
