I thought it was intentionally bad... kind of like all the 70s horror films. It was a nice, light read, which I enjoy when I'm reading dense stuff like Seven Soldiers and 100 Bullets. I liked Corben's art, so I'll be riding this bad boy out.
criden and i were talking about this. we both thought it was hilarious, but i'm going to keep reading and he, most likely, will not.
what did you think? was it funny on purpose (campy 70's horror movie), or was it hysterical because it was trying to be serious, like, say, Terminator 3 or Schindler's List?

I think he meant Camptown...
camp town usa, established in the early 1800's, was abbreviated to Campton shortly thereafter.Originally Posted by Goddess0Kay(again!)

I think the story's intentionally bad and campy. Like where Jason Voorhees and his mom spent there time. I am diggin' Richard Corben's art so I'll ride 'er out to the end. Plus Big Foot totally did that guy's moms.
i wanted to read it
just because Corben is drawing it
