Yup, when I'm at work or out doing errands, I am always thinking about how I'm going to write something and whatnot. It's like an obession.![]()
I used to not understand what people meant by this, but now I completely do. I have a long day ahead of me, I have to wake up at seven, and I can't stop writing my script. When I'm not physically writing, I'm thinking about my stories. When in class, when talking to others, anytime of the day, and I'm thinking of writing. It's insane, how badly I just want to get this all down on paper.
If you ever decide to start writing, sit down with yourself and a spoon. And ask yourself, ask yourself fucking carefully, what would be better; to stick the spoon in your ear, or to start writing. Knowing what I now know, I would've gone with the spoon.
It's not that I don't enjoy it. I enjoy it immensely, and it's a great feeling to accomplish something. But, it's not easy at all. It gets stuck in your head and drives you crazy. But it's worth it.

I like writing. For me, it's way easier than drawing. I don't have to do a lot of re-writing, but that's usually because I've been obsessing over a story in my head for a while and writing random notes. So yeah, it can (and usually does) take over your head. But it's worth it.

I think you've been jealous ever since I stopped loving you.Originally Posted by bloodyheck
Yeah. And it's sometimes very painful. Like when you can't figure out a script or character.
It's like really hard math.
I feel like I'm in my physics lab. The teacher just kind of lets us loose and other than the occasional tip, we don't know what we're doing. We're going in completely blind and the end result is never what we want it to be.Originally Posted by Nathan Patton
It's so surprising to me, because when I want to talk about my writing, I don't have a problem. I can describe it and figure out what I want. But, when it comes down to sitting down and writing out the plot and story, finding a voice for my characters, and engaging the reader all at the same time, it just sort of falls apart. I'm sure I'll get better at it, even though I'm sure it'll never get easier.
