I didn't think it was very good. Too many stupid lines and cheesy effects. Pretty weak movie by Tim Burton. Danny Elfman is, as always, good though.

I watched it again a few days ago and I agree that's it's incredibly weak. With a little more effort it could have been interesting.

I think it really lost me when the witch's eyes popped out... wasn't scary. Was actually pretty funny without trying to be.

I just thought it didn't go anywhere. The first 10 minutes in New York were kinda cool but after that it got tedious.
