Ever since my wife got pregnant--and especially since the birth of my twins--I've been sorta out of touch with the world. There are cultural phrases and happenings that elude me.

I still don't get the "Internet cracked in half" thing or where this reference came from.

I don't know anything about Wanda, especially the reference to what it is I would know if I knew what I don't know about Wanda. I don't even know who Wanda is or what the hell that's all about.

I don't know who Ronin is. More specifically, I don't know what this is even referring to. I assume it's a character from some comic book I'm not reading.

I don't know who Valerie Plame is, or what the fuck that has to do with the Whitehouse. I suppose I could probably look it up if I really cared.

I've never watched an episode of Lost, House, The O.C., Desperate Housewives, Buffy, or Serenity.

I'm sure there's more that I'm missing.

Okay, I'll try and help you out on some of these.

i'm guessing you're referring to the whole "Read it again knowing what you know about Wanda" line. In the infamous Avengers Disassembled arc, Wanda, the Scarlet Witch, turns out to be more powerful than the Avengers realize and can now warp and distort reality. After the Avengers Disassembled event, Bendis urged readers to "Read it again, knowing what you know about Wanda."

Ronin is the ninja character in New Avengers.

The internet cracking in half was a promotional tag for an issue of House of M (#4 I think...), such as "This issue will crack the internet in half!"
