i just got back from seeing it.
it was awesome.
i jsut have some quick questions: who exactly is josh hartnett? i never read his character before. what stories is he from?
but the whole movie. man, i thought it was awesome. i think the crowd liked it to, but not all of them were as enthralled as i.
i think some people wont get passed the diolauge and declare it cheesy even though it totally worked for me.
also, one major gripe.
in the beginning it says "based on the GRAPHIC NOVELS by frank miller". for someone who is all about not acting like comics are a lower artistic form, it just struck me as odd that they made a point of saying graphic novel instead of comic books. i read it all in issue form and not in trades. it just struck me as odd that people use graphic novel instead of syaing comic books. does anyone know what i am saying there? or what i am trying to say?

That would have rocked, but the audience already believed he was dead once.Originally Posted by Movie...Maker...

People can now purchase the Graphic Novels at their favorite book store, but not the single issues. I figure it was telling them what to ask for.Originally Posted by smashtor
I have no problem with it.
Anad (Pronounced like Swizzle-stick")
Movie Of The Year. Seriously, I can't seen anything on the horizon that's going to be this original and entertaining. Mary (who reads no comics) liked it, but not as much as I did.
We saw some exceptionally foul previews. Who was asking for an Amityville Horror re-make? Not I...

i did...sorry? i thought it looks pretty cool. also that skeleton key movie.Originally Posted by Meteornotes
