Long URL glitch?

When I post a link to an image from MSN Groups like the following:

http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0SAAQA...ase_Monkey.jpg

Here's the same line with img tags:

[IMG]http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0SAAQA2AWEEOcaukLTQ7CFQx8wIs7t1tLCn3yngzsINoWes0iX AqsW8hga9En8CpcpViyVH7MOWckPFwXkapv7DFSCWV3jc8Rqcj G*48tgR9MAAAAynJuAg/Grease_Monkey.jpg[/IMG]

The board automatically puts a blank space somewhere in the middle of the URL.

Is there a chance of adding a patch that autoshortens long urls like tinyurl does?

VBulletin has a feature which breaks up a line of unbroken text.

I'm not sure if it can be turned off, but it's what's causing that.
