The Official Respect for Women Thread!

I respect her so much, I would write her a letter expressing my respect, and she might even write me back 'cause I'd be so respectful even though she's a supreme court justice and I work at Wendy's!

Who is a woman that YOU respect?

    Dr. Maya Angelou

Dr. Maya Angelou is a well-known poet, educator, historian, best-selling author, actress, playwright, civil-rights activist, producer and director. Angelou has authored 12 best-selling books, including "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings" and "A Song Flung Up to Heaven." She is a remarkable woman whom I had the great pleasure of meeting at a book signing/lecture once. It was a life changing event.
