Wow. The PSP emulators are really easy to set up. I never got around to it until now. I'm running NES and Turbo Grafx games flawlessly now on my PSP. The analog stick is great for old games. Installation of the emulators is as simple as dragging and dropping files onto the Memory Stick Duo card via a USB reader (or via a USB cable from your PSP).
If you bought the PSP when it first came out in the US you have the 1.50 firmware which is needed right now for emulation since it doesn't have all the Sony security patches.
CAUTION: If you download and install the new firmware or play any recent games, your firmware will be changed to 2.0, which would lock you out of emulators for the foreseeable future.

Really? Wow. According to PSPbrew.com, it still wasn't. Glad to hear it. I hate it when companies forcefeed system upgrades.
motherfucker... i have 2.0
will someone notify me when theres anything i can download for it? fuck...
I love 2.0 though, since I can now web surf at Panera Bread Co., change my wall paper, and look at more images, which helps when I read comics or books on my PSP.
In Vino Veritas
Sure, I'll PM you when I find out when emulators are compatible with 2.0. In the meantime, enjoy the new games... I won't be able to. Some good PSP games will finally be coming out.Originally Posted by BeetlejonnyZ

Yep, Punch-Out is great. I played it last on my Gameboy using an NES emulator. It's too bad that there was never a sequel on the NES.

Is there a workable psp emulator for PC yet?
