    I still function.

    Hiya, folks. Thanks to the miracle of a big-ass generator at the Alabama School of Math & Science (where 3 of my friends work), I am reporting in from the post-hurricane world of Mobile, AL. Things are ok. We didn't get it nearly as bad as MS or LA. I've heard 200,000 people in this area are without power, my place included, but I'll take that over 10 feet of standing water. Alot of downed trees and lights and stuff, but nothing too horrible to report around here. I dunno who's checked in, I don't wanna sit on Mike's computer too long... Perfect Despair lives not far from my folks in MS, and they're fine, so that's encouraging.

    Anyway, yeah. I'm cool, thanks for asking. Hopefully power will be back soon, but 'til then... see ya later...

    I did see some pretty flooded areas down in Mobile though, glad to hear your home dodged the worst of it.
