Quick, artists! Recommend me a brush!

So I'm off on Sunday for vacation, where I plan to do a lot of drawing, and I want to try some brush work. I'm going to the art store in 15-20 minutes and I have no idea what I'm looking for. Just not too expensive. So, recommend away!

I really dig the Loew-Cornell Ultra Rounds (red strip on a black handle). They are synthetic and last a long time. I used them for Ciderview 5. I like the big ones (#

(If you are just starting, don´t waste your money in sable hair)

For inks and watercolors: Round point, # 3.

For oils and acrylics: Flat point, # 4 or # 5

I've never had a problem with cheap brushes. I do have some 40 dollar and up stuff but I feel like I'm going to screw them up everytime i use them and there is a difference with the expensive stuff but not 40 dollars worth IMO.

Just pick up a multipack and get a lot of styles so you can try them out. I prefer large brushes and very fine brushes as I hardly have need for a meduim size UNLESS I'm working on a piece of paper or canvas.

Also if using acrylics be prepared to throw away a brush or two.
