So I'm off on Sunday for vacation, where I plan to do a lot of drawing, and I want to try some brush work. I'm going to the art store in 15-20 minutes and I have no idea what I'm looking for. Just not too expensive. So, recommend away!

"You're the only one I want. I've never heard your name. Let's hope we meet someday, if we don't it's all the same. I'll meet the ones between us and be thinking about you. And all the places I have seen and why you were not there"

I've never had a problem with cheap brushes. I do have some 40 dollar and up stuff but I feel like I'm going to screw them up everytime i use them and there is a difference with the expensive stuff but not 40 dollars worth IMO.
Just pick up a multipack and get a lot of styles so you can try them out. I prefer large brushes and very fine brushes as I hardly have need for a meduim size UNLESS I'm working on a piece of paper or canvas.
Also if using acrylics be prepared to throw away a brush or two.![]()
at this point it'll just be for inking.![]()
oh i got no idea on that one. I just use delter pens for inking right now.Originally Posted by B-Rose
