Anybody ever wonder if Marvel will ever explain who the Evil Xorn/Fake Magneto was during the series right before the Morrison alternate future run?

I'd like to know who the fake Magneto was eventually. Plus why he was acting like Magneto.

Unfortunatly every x book out seems to have tottaly droped this plot all together.

Uncanny is doing a new Psylocke thing

Xmen is doing Golgotha, which is horrible.

and Astonishing is doing some kind of Danger room thing.


Is it too much to ask for Marvel to actually explain events that were writen and never really finished ?

I think he wants a definitive answer to the horrible continuity clusterfuck that was: Xorn is really Magneto, Xorn has a twin brother who has a black hole for a brain, Magneto/Xorn wasn't really Magneto or Xorn, but an imposter whose identity was never revealed. So what happened to the sun-for-a-brain Xorn, did he ever really exist, and if it wasn't Magneto that took over NYC, killed Jean Grey, and got his head lopped off, then who was it? How did Magneto survive the attack on Genosha, and how did he pop up over in Excalibur?
I teach high school English. I can translate pretty much any sentence and apply meaning to it.
