Should I put my $5.99 Band of Brothers on my bookcase next to my $70 iPod from Stalples, if you know what I mean...?

For what it's worth, various Targets throughout the country have got some Warner and HBO Television DVD sets priced at $5.99 right now, either as some weird clearance or a price mistake. My Target had been stripped of many titles but still had Band of Brothers, Sex and the City, and Gilmore Girls (all seasons) sets at that price, and apparently The OC, MacGuyver, and Batman TAS are also ringing up 5.99 at other locations. They weren't labeled as on sale at my store so use those price-check scanners in the store to see which DVDs are ringing up this way.

no, this one appears to be legit... i can't fuckin leave the office for like another hour or so though to check this out... dammit!
I was skeptical, too, but I made the trip anyway, and this one is real. Although apparently not every Target has these prices, a lot of Targets all over the US do.Originally Posted by bnolan
Damn! I won't be able to head out until after work. What part of the country are you in?
What's funny is that Sex and the City and Gilmore Girls are two of the few tv shows my wife and I watch, and I was always impressed by Band of Brothers when it was on, too.
So, in short, if our Target has this going on, I'm stocking up!!
I was going to post this, but screw helping you guys out after the iPOD thing![]()
There are also apparently lots of other sets on sale, you just have to figure out which ones. Mostly Warner sets, but I recommend just scanning everything at those price-check machines at the end of aisles.Originally Posted by TyPierce
