Superior? no. Well informed of comic goodness? Yes!
Just curious...
I do tend to look down on other comic books (cause really, nothing's better than Kabuki), but not the people who read them.
I have met other Kabuki fans who feel superior to superhero comic fans.

I consider Kabuki to be advanced comics reading, but how could I possibly look down on other comics and their fans when I still read lots of the Marvel and DC stuff as well? What I do look askance at is people who have read Kabuki and claim not to like it. Granted, different strokes for differnt folks and all that, but... not like Kabuki? That's like Otter's reaction in Animal house when Mandy Pepperidge tells him it wasn't that great...
... Not that great???!?![]()

Spoiler:
I never look down on anybody, comic fan or otherwise, inferiority complex, well that and being 5'6"
AF.
"I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now, what I'm with isn't it, and what's "it" seems weird and scary to me.... & It'll happen to you!"
No, I don't look down on them...but I do tend to wonder if these poor, uneducated, uncultured, soulless people have any idea on what they're missing.
Oh wait, I guess I do.
But really, I don't. I've given TPB's to a couple people who just had different tastes, and had no problem with it...their injuries from my punches and kicks are healing quite nicely.![]()
yeah, my broken nose is pretty much back to normal now.
i can still feel the punch, but at least i don't have to wear that stupid nose cast anymore.
