(Spoilers) Batman after Infinite Crisis

There have been a lot of rumors and talk going around that Bruce Wayne won't be Batman after the new Crisis that's coming in the DC universe. I didn't like the idea at first, but the more I think about it the more it could work. I think it would be very cool to see, of all people... Jason Todd as Batman (from what I hear, he hasn't exactly been established as a bad guy yet). I think that if Jason Todd took on the mantle, you would see a meaner, more violent Batman that would clean house on guys like Joker and Two-Face. Also, Jason Todd won't have the public appearance of Bruce Wayne to keep up. He could be Batman 24/7. It also made me think that: If Jason Todd was Batman; would he take a Robin with him? I think it raise more interesting possibilities and questions. What does everyone here think?

Jason Todd is a fucking psycho. If he's Batman, he's not going to be part of any team, or any alliance. He's going to be the Punisher in a bat suit. The likeliest scenarion has there being two Batmans after IC. Jason Todd and Tim Drake. Tim is the "approved" Batman, while Jason just decided to appoint himself Batman one day and goes around killing everyone in sight. This could be pretty cool.

Not very likely, we already had all that when Azrael was Batman.

I don't buy these rumors. And if they happen, it definitely won't stick for more than a few months. After the ammount of $$$ that Batman Begins brought in this year, I can't see Warner letting DC make such a huge shift.

I don't buy these rumors. And if they happen, it definitely won't stick for more than a few months. After the ammount of $$$ that Batman Begins brought in this year, I can't see Warner letting DC make such a huge shift.

But they've been hinting that's what the All-Star line is there for. That'll be where the "timeless" versions of the characters are and always will be, and they'll fuck around a lot more in the Universe proper.
