I really hope she doesn't do any DC stuff for a bit. They've treated her very poorly favoring Cunningham over her is just one example.
I have no intention of buy anything set in n52 DC.

Eh. Birds of Prey and Secret Six are both unrecognizable after this reboot. I don't see how she can do better there than on Batgirl. Same goes for Wonder Woman and Teen Titans which also come to mind. We need a reboot from the reboot... and this time toss out many of the editors for an actual reboot. The DC 'reboot' was all superficial. The same idiots who have been running the company into the ground are still in charge of steering the shit. Hell, if anything, they got even more power due to it and other restructuring.
Someone on Bleeding Cool suggested that maybe she might get an editorial position and act as someone to foster female talent. Eh. It would still be locked in the same nuthouse. Though I guess someone's gotta bring the chiefs of DC Comics binders full of women.
Really this depends on if Bleeding Cool has any clue what they are talking about.
Assuming they are right that this announcement will happen Friday, it doesn't mean they actually know what it is. Because "Break The Internet" and "spit it out over everyone when the news breaks" implies big. It doesn't imply Birds of Prey or Secret Six or Suicide Squad or anything of that level.
So it could be a bunch of hooey. The scale of the news they are implying, I mean.

I wouldn't call them journalists either, not any more than I'd call a piece quoting an AP source for the bulk of its content real journalism. He's a gossip columnist, basically, who happens to know people that are in the loop. Has he done any interviews with creators? Any analytical pieces?

Breaking news: Gail Simone to become new editor in chief at DC, announces new book "Comic book ass of the month". The first issue will have a Nightwing centerfold.
I'm glad she'll still have a presence at DC. She's good for them and, contrary to popular opinion, I think they've been good for her.
