Good thoughts and prayers that this is only a "blip" and strength to make it through.
All my hopes to Cass and Cam.
And Cass, your friend is correct
Your father will always be with you .
Even five years later ,
I think of my Dad everyday.
Somedays are worse than others .
NEVER supress tears .
What your feeling is very normal.
I sincerely wish that there was more that I could do to help.
Good thoughts and prayers that this is only a "blip" and strength to make it through.

Good thoughts on you Cass.
It's a tough situation for sure, especially at this time of year. it's been six years since my mom passed away in my arms and I still get panic attacks from that. I can only say like others have just let the emotions come and go as they show up and don't shut yourself off from others around you.

Thank you guys, you have all of my love during the holiday season at well.
Cooked dinner for Rowan' Mum last night, it was a nice evening. It looks like she's definitely starting chemo next week, but we're remaining optimistic.

Just an update...
My boss, Laurie was told this week she may only expect a few months life at most.
She said she doesn't want any interventions, so she's just going to make the best of things in the time she has left.

Sorry to hear that Cam. Some bosses are easy to vilify but when you lose one who's an inspiration life doesn't seem fair or even right.

We've had the results of my Mother-in-law's bone marrow test, while the cancerous cells are back; they're not growing or spreading by the looks of fit. This means that she can try a new chemotherapy treatment that's not as severe as the last one she went on. She can also undergo the treatment at home, so it looks like she'll be home for Christmas. We're still staying very positive, this most recent news was very encouraging.
