Hi Kelly Sue,
Any thoughts about bringing in Victor Gischler and Bong Dazo? They would be perfect additions. But the question I wanted to ask is have you also considered including artists Terry Dodson and Rick Fields to the project as well? I think that Pretty Deadly could be an awesome series with right talent behind it. I am sure that Victor, Bong, Terry, and Rick could be the type of guys would would bring a lot to the table. Any serious thoughts about working with them respectively on the project?
Hi, I moved your post to the new Q&A thread.
(And, even though I'm not Kelly Sue, I can't resist butting in and saying that PRETTY DEADLY already has the right talent behind it! It's creator-owned by Kelly Sue and artist Emma Rios. I don't think we'll be seeing other creators involved.)
Cheers,
Kaz
Hi Kelly Sue,
If you wanted to do the following team-up story, which one would you choose to write about:
Spider-Man x Psylocke
Spider-Man x Spider-Woman
Spider-Man x Black Widow
Spider-Man x She-Hulk
This is not a mandate of any sort. I just wanted to ask for your honest opinion as to which of the following heroine team-up adventure with Spider-Man/Peter Parker holds your interest? You did the excellent Spider-Man x Captain Marvel. So I thought that the following heroines that I wrote down might hold your interest as an alternate to Captain Marvel working alongside Spider-Man. The one aspect that I liked about your handling on Carol Danvers x Peter Parker was their interaction in their civilian identity. Something that most writers never do regarding Spider-Man. The idea that a heroine and Peter can interact outside of crime fighting develops a real bond of trust between them. And this is special relationship that Peter no longer has with Felicia Hardy.
I also enjoyed the friendship that Jessica Drew has with Carol outside of the Avengers. I only wished that the past writers of Spider-Man had displayed Peter's friendship with Jessica Drew in the same matter as it was done with Carol Danvers out of costume. The way that Brian Bendis wrote Peter's relationship with Jessica Drew was as fun to read as your take on Peter and Carol. The only thing that Bendis never did was show them interacting together in their civilian appearance outside of Avengers.
