He was a good kingpin, honestly, I thought he pulled the role off well.
Also, fuck you world. Stop killing awesome people.
Damn, just saw this linked on twitter.
So sorry to hear this. I loved him in pretty much everything I ever saw him in and by all accounts he was a great guy to know and work with.

Agree to disagree on that. Still this is really sad news.
Hate me all you want, 95 % of the time I'm write.
wow, that sucks!!
I didn't even know he had a heart attack in July.
He seemed like such a nice guy.
My mom didn't watch a lot of movies, she just wasn't of fan of the media but whenever The Green Mile would be on television, she would watch it with me so Michael Clarke Duncan always had a very special place in my heart.
You shall be missed good Sir....

He was so awesome he almost saved the otherwise craptastic "Daredevil" singlehandedly. Literally, I only rewatch that movie for his scenes.

Shit. It's been a long time since I've seen Daredevil, but I do remember him being awesome in it.
That is a damn shame. And put me in with those who thought his Kingpin was one of the few bright spots in that movie.
Also his singing to Will Ferrell in the outtakes to Talladega Nights - the man even had great comedic chops.

I knew about the heart attack, it was made pretty clear at the time that it was a widow maker. But I was under the impression that he was doing better.
I'm brokenhearted. He was one of my favorite actors. As others have mentioned, he's the best thing about Daredevil.
RIP Michael Clarke Duncan... a great and singular screen talent if ever there was one. I always smile when he chimes in to sing "Leavin' On A Jet Plane" in Armageddon.
I also have always felt he could bring the "gentle giant" feeling in a way no one has since the wonderful Andre The Giant passed away.
