Are you saying he has The Superman Messiah Complex?
After all, just before the relaunch, we wouldn't have had Wonder Woman if not for Superman.
It had to happen one day. Now that Wolverine is on every team in the Marvel universe and has appeared in ever comic they publish, even those not set in the Marvel U, it was only a matter of time before his ubiquitousness would start reaching back in time to insert him into every comic that happened before he was created too.
I'm just waiting now to see the story where he was responsible for Spider-man being bitten by the radioactive spider, for causing the FF to go into space, and for getting together Captain America, Prince Namor, and the original Human Torch to fight Nazis.
People say I'm in a world of my own. I call it Planet Karen.

Not bad for a former homeless Canadian played by a show toon lovin' Wahroongan.
First X-Men will no doubt be completely ignored. I would not worry about it.
Hmm. Maybe I should have added a smiley face, because it does not worry me, I find it frigging hilarious.Originally Posted by Personamanx

I did like how First Class managed it, featuring him briefly as someone who was on the scene back in the day.
This does feel a bit like back in the 90s when we had Banshee and Magneto running around together years before 'meeting' in Lobdell's Generation X flashbacks, or Captain America and Wolverine hanging out in WWII.
I much preferred David Liss' approach with Mystery Men. The timeline has advanced so far whole new worlds can be imagined in the stretching gap between the supposed first adventures of FF, X-Men, Avengers etc and what went before.
Plus having Ayn Rand as a supervillain was genius.

New blog The Momus Report - books, films and opinions.
Wolverine's well established for having been around for a very long time now. Including his Japanese history. Heck, they should go for broke and have him as the head of the Canadian forces that burned the White House!
Take it further than that. Show Logan farming a field. Vikings attack, led by Sabretooth. Then show them fighting side-by-side in Roman gear. Then have them in greek armor, facing each other over a shield wall. Make it clear that these 2 have been around since the beginning of time, fighting with and against each other, never truly stopping, never with a true victor.
