Maybe I should, I had no idea Steel was in the comic (Although now that I think about it, I vaguely recall us talking about that on here a few months back).

Sounds like your motives are good, but I gotta admit, seeing "whining" in the thread title about killed my interest and I skipped most of this one.

But yeah, there's something to be said about focusing on the good stories of the past (cuz there sure as hell ain't a lot of them now for some favorites).
My first novel is up Amazon Kindle at http://www.amazon.com/In-My-Brothers...8184334&sr=1-1

    And now in paperback, too!

Now that we've had multiple people chime in on the title I'm starting to second-guess myself. Maybe a change for a more positive phrasing?

How about "Quit yer bitchin' and let's talk about fun old stories!"?

The problem is really only using negative terms like "whining", or "bitching". I implies that the person complaining has no solid ground to stand on. You want to talk about why people like the characters tehy complain about being mistreated, so how about a title that highlights the positive? Not that you can change it anymore at this point :P

I reread all my 5 blue beetle trades not long ago.

    This always give me goosebumps.

    Also this is great.

    And this

    And what could have been.

    Also JLA/Avengers and Planetary.

2003 JLA/JSA Thanksgiving dinner, interrupted by Kulak and the Warlock of Ys --

    VILLAINS:
"One, two three... four... Errrmm ... There are rather MORE of them than we anticipated..."

    HEROES:
    "...?"

    VILLAINS:
"Oh look. They were just sitting down to eat... Maybe we shouldn't interrupt them..."

    HEROES:
    "...!"
    "GET 'EM!"

The whole issue was just about the various characters interacting, with, like, ONE panel of "thud crash" on the next-to-last page.

    STARGIRL:
"The KIDS' TABLE?! They put me at the KIDS' TABLE?!!?" (To Captain Marvel) Why didn't they put YOU at the kids' table??

CAPTAIN MARVEL (from behind his hand):
    "Ixnay on the idkay...!"

(With a brilliant Norman Rockwell homage cover... I just can't see any Norman Rockwell homage covers coming out of the new DC.)

Man, that book gave me hope for today's comics. Figures it wasn't dark and gritty enough and had to be changed for the relaunch.

Eh, at this point I'm trying not to care anymore.
