You had me at Lizzy Caplan. God I love that woman.
Nick Refn who directed Drive is supposedly Directing a Barbarella pilot for the people behind the new Hannibal series. No american network has gotten involved yet but it seems like the perfect show for a Spartacus less show time.
I say get Lizzy Caplan for the tit le role. She has a great body and great haor and has done nudity when the role required. I'm not desperate for this series to happen but if it does I'd say get Caplan.

If this is going anywhere but premium cable, it's already a dead show walking.

My first novel is up Amazon Kindle at http://www.amazon.com/In-My-Brothers...8184334&sr=1-1
And now in paperback, too!
Yeah I can't see it working anywhere but showtime hbo or stars. And I don't know who they are considering motor fire box. Caplan is who I would want to see in the role.

This does seem like a challenge to do. The somewhat campy but heavily action-oriented aspect isn't that hard to do. It's the heavy sexual content. And Barbarella without sex just can't be. It wouldn't be the same. It's the mixture of campy comedy, sci-fi action, and sexual liberation imagery that makes the total package

I'm only interested in this if there is a zero g striptease, cause that for me was the only good thing about the movie, and I didn't really have a whole lot of desire to see Jane Fonda naked, it was just you don't see zero g striptease that often. And no, I don't buy into it being a movie of women's liberation, it was sleazy, and more so from what I heard about the history of the film.
I still think Amy Adams would be my ideal Barbarella.

She would never do a tv series right now as good as her movie career is. And she wouldn't do nude scenes either.
