    New Comics This Week (6/20/12)

I will not be able to make it to the comic shop today, so unfortunately you'll all need to wait a day to get my insightful, world-shaking commentary on today's issues. What did everybody else get today?
Life is like a roller coaster. It has its ups and downs, but if you sit back and relax you get a heck of a ride.

ADVENTURE TIME (With Finn and Jake) #5: Well as I tweeted to Ryan North a few minutes ago it was a great issue. Topological even. Funny as hell, loved the Dungeons and Dragons references, Adventure Tim was incredibly creepy but I think that was the point with him, and I really want to see the completed Creepy Finn and Jake Robots.

SAGA #4: Man, some pretty intense things this issue. Sextillion very much lives up to it's name but do not under any circumstance offer a Six year old Sex slave to The Will. He. Will. Mess. You. Up. Man, this book is excellent.

Two pretty odd books to buy and read together. Both on entirely different ends of the spectrum but they're both excellent reads.

    Okay...
Batwoman 10: Hmmm. Rare near miss, although it was stronger on the second read and I suspect will read fine in trade. It just kind of feels like this arc should be done already, but there were plenty of good moments. Jacob's was particularly interesting. Had to double take with Maggie though, I forgot she had a kid and thought for a second she was talking to a bit on the side.
Dark Avengers 176: Oh, Underbolts, how I've missed you. You're like the Secret Six in this Secret Sixless world. Great issue with much hilarity, more Troll and even a surprise guest appearance of certain famous villain fighting two megaladon. What more could you ask for?
Saga 4: Blah blah blah best book around by miles blah blah blah. You've heard it before. As Personamanx observed, the Will, who I wasn't interested in much until this point, grew a beard (But dude, spoilers?).

Daredevil continues to be awesome. Sad that Paolo Rivera is gone, but damn if Samnee is not a fantastic replacement.

Apologies. I used to have to wait months to read comics when I lived in Newfoundland. Now I can get them at the shop on day one. I never developed a spoilers reflex. It's fixed now.

No worries. I had read it already, and usually I think these kinds of threads are okay with some spoilers, but as it is such a kickass moment I think everyone should read it not read about it.
