What's this? I've not heard of this.
So, I picked up Ame-Comi Batgirl #1 today and, overall, I quite liked it.
The interplay between Barbara and Carrie was great and the tone of it carried over well into their Batgirl and Robin personae nicely.
Has anyone else read it?

Life is like a roller coaster. It has its ups and downs, but if you sit back and relax you get a heck of a ride.
DC's digital-only series of minis based on the Ame-Comi merchandise series. 3 weekly minis leading into an ongoing: first came Wonder Woman, now Batgirl, the next mini is Duela Dent (I'm looking forward to that) and then the planned ongoing.
Actually...

Right, I think I did hear about that before. I'm totally in on this.

They probably will be eventually, but there hasn't been any solicitation to that effect yet. Possibly, DC could be using this as a test case to gauge the difference between online-then-floppies (such as the Beyond titles and Smallville Season 11) and online-then-TPB. In any event, the printed collection of online issues have generally collected 4 digital issues. With the initial 3-part offerings, Ami-Comi doesn't quite fit that model.
I enjoyed the comic. I'm not a big fan of the art but I really liked the interactions between Batgirl and Robin, Harley and Catwoman.
