Happy Anniversary for Walt Simonson - it is this month the 25th Anniversary of his CLASSIC Mighty Thor 380.



Now I have to say that IMO this issue absolutely craps all over the effort to rewrite the tale in the final issue of Fear Itself, changing the serpent Thor fights into Odin's forgotten brother.

This is, forever and all time, the definitive Marvel story of THOR Vs THE MIDGARD SERPENT! 21 Splash pages and still with more actual story than your average comic book these days!

Well done Mr Simonson. It is as good a read today as it was for a geeky 20 year old a quarter century ago
