Seventh will always be my favorite - the chessmaster, the mysterious, and of course saddled with the impulsive teenage girl with a penchant for explosives and doesn't take crap from anybody.

I always saw 7th as the Mr Bean of Dr. Whos. I know that's not entirely fair, but, eh.

Also should we even include 8 in this discussion, given that he was only in the tv movie and never made into to the series?

I notice 4th makes a lot of list of some of you others as well. You know it's funny, while the 4th doctor is well loved I heard that Tom Baker was downright sick of that roll and how it defined his career. Kinda makes him the anti-Tennant.
