    Voice recognition software

I have used Kinect's voice recognition with a mild level of success but the voice software with my iPad totally fails to understand 90% of what I try saying to it.

Voice recognition doesn't seem to be fond of Scottish accents...

    Re: Voice recognition software

When I call government offices, they often have a voice recognition that asks which postal code you live in.

It almost always thinks I live in the PE (Peterborough, England) rather than PA (Paisley, Scotland) region.

Although most of my Xbox Kinect commands work OK, my Bing searches are all over the place and are usually miles away from what I ask. I don't think I have a heavy accent, which makes it more annoying.

So, Scottish accent goes "Pee Aye", or what? :3

Those things are horribly inaccurate. I used to have one for writing. You always have to go over the text again to correct mistakes by hand (i.e. keyboard).

More like Pee Eh. Sounds too much like an English Pee Eee. Our Pee Eee is more like Pee Eeeeh
