I need to figure out how to unsee things ...
..but Gail, as much I love and respect you and honestly want to believe those words... I now think that this is really not the case, from Comics Alliance:
Original article here.'The Situation' Gets His Own Comic with Greg Horn Cover, End of Days Possibly At HandA while back, we brought you the news that Jersey Shore star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino was teaming up with Wizard World to create a comic book about himself, which was somehow both mystifying and, given Wizard's slow transition from taste-making comics mag to traveling celebrity sideshow, perfectly logical. Today, thanks to our colleagues over at MTV Geek, we now know the details of this upcoming masterpiece.
In order to bring the Situation's adventures to the page, he'll be joined by artist Talent Caldwell, cover painter Greg Horn, and Eisner Award-winning writer Paul Jenkins. Really.
As a general rule, the only TV shows I watch are cartoons for nine year-olds and professional wrestling, so I'm only vaguely familiar with Mr. Ation's past work. However, Wikipedia -- the most reliable source in the world, assuming that you're looking for details on about three different subjects -- informs me that he was once asked by overpriced mall retailer Abercrombie and Fitch to stop wearing their clothes because he was tarnishing their image, so he's clearly doing something right.
According to MTV Geek, the Situation will be joining Jenkins (best known for his tenure writing Hulk and Spider-Man and co-creating the Sentry with Jae Lee) as co-writer of the book, although if we're honest with ourselves, that's probably a pretty generous description of their working relationship. On the art side, though, I have to admit that Greg Horn is probably the perfect guy to draw covers for this book.
Not since Jenna Jameson's Shadow Hunter has there been a title that seems so perfectly tailored to his style.
As for the actual content of the book, that's yet to be revealed, but given the creators involved, I suspect that there'll be some kind of super-hero spin on the Situation's life. It's not that much of a stretch, either: We already know he and his team have the uncanny ability to beat up music.

Will the owner of my LCS ban me from his store if I just pick up a copy of this and punch it without paying for it? Seriously wondering if it'd be worth it.
Only way I can see this ending well is if it ends up being a meta satire that Sorrentino (I refuse to use that idiotic self-imposed nickname) is too dumb to recognize.
Just... ick. No.
My first novel is up Amazon Kindle at http://www.amazon.com/In-My-Brothers...8184334&sr=1-1
And now in paperback, too!
The publisher of Dragon Ball kept forcing Akira Toriyama to continue the series long after Toriyama wanted to end it (this much is known to be true). According to legend, Toriyama responded by deliberately doing bad work in the hope that it would cause Dragon Ball to lose popularity and they'd let him quit.
Well, if it gets more people into comic shops and helps raise awareness for good comics...no, I can't even finish that. This is absolutely ridiculous. That entire show is ridiculous (And they're not even @#$%ing from Jersey!). This is a waste of fine ink and paper.
Life is like a roller coaster. It has its ups and downs, but if you sit back and relax you get a heck of a ride.
He's not writing it? Aww, this could have been one of the funniest comics since Warrior.
Gemini Storm - My first published work. Free Issue #3 to anyone who gets their local store to stock the title.
Just Another Day - Bikini Girls and explosions.
Think about the people you see in your comics shop when you go there. How many of them are likely to pick up a comic about Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino?
And how many non-comics readers in the world are likely to seek out a comic shop just so they can buy a comic about Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino?
You know the main reason why our economy is in the state it's in? It's because idiotic "businesspeople" are constantly making multi-million dollar decisions that everyone else in the world but them instantly recognizes as stupid.
Seriously, guys. Enough cocaine is enough.
