Long Halloween, and The Red Mist or whatever the hell it's called where batman gets turned into a vigilante Vampire.
Mainly because that one is just so damn fun to read.
Hey all,
Scott Snyder has reignited my love of the Dark Knight! I just read the Batman: Court of Owls trade and was blown away. I've already read gates of gotham and thought it was really interesting and i just ordered black mirror.
With that said, I was wondering if there were any other batman stories you can recommend? In general, I have always been more of a fan of nightwing, robin and batgirl than i have been of batman but i am interesting in reading some great batcentric stories
I heard some interesting things about grant morrison's run. Is that worth getting? What else could you recommend I read?
Thanks all

Thanks for replying guys!
I guess I should mention that I have read year one, long halloween, dark victory, hush and dark knight returns. I would totally recommend those to anyone else, although to be honest i am not the biggest fan of dark knight returns.
Wisdom from the Batcave: How to Live a Super, Heroic Life, by Cary Friedman.
Not technically a Batman trade, but still. A fun, educational, and incredibly inspirational work.
I recommend batman son of the demon. This is the first story I read with ra ghul and it's one of my favorites. Also this is the story where Morrison got his idea of talia and Bruce having a child which would become damian.
I liked Face the Face.
The first two Batman & Robin trades are spectacular.
Why do you still have signatures turned on?
I love that one too. I had so much fun reading that. The trade that collects Red Rain, Bloodstorm, and Crimson Mist, is titled Batman: Vampire. Moench's writing's epic and Kelley Jones's art's, as always, gorgeous and grotesque and gorgeous as fuck. I really wish Timm would animate this.
