I would have wanted to keep the relationship intact if we did take that route, but Reptil was made a part of the team early on and so was Lyra (a great idea by Travis), so Wiccan showing up in a cameo made for a better show.
To be fair, Lyra recently joined the school as well.

RE: Wiccan/Hulking.. I thought it'd be an insult to fans of the couple if they were featured and the relationship was avoided.. I thought the Dr Strange adept thing was an interesting take, especially since Ray did something similar.

I loved the other team's intro, even if I can't see the Hulk being an instructor.. it would be a fun take/twist though.

As far as kids enjoying things, my five year old loves Next Avengers, then again, she loves the 2.5 2012 movie as well I keep trying to get her to watch A:EMH lately

Yeah, you really couldn't eliminate the relationship if you wanted to use the characters regularly. A big part of why I chose to turn Billy into a Thor legacy and eliminate the name Wiccan was because I thought you could get away with a gay character on a cartoon show, but a gay character with the name "Wiccan"? Less so.

Really, the biggest problem for me with Wiccan and Hulkling was that their origins are so complex and reliant on Marvel continuity. That's why I kept Teddy as civilian cast for most of the season. They're good characters, but need some retrofitting to make it into a cartoon.

That's also why I didn't want to pursue more YA characters. Because it's, oh, hey, this guy's half-Skrull; oh, hey, this guy's the Scarlet Witch's son who was born and then died and his soul went somewhere else and he grew up and has magic powers and a twin that he doesn't know about with white hair.

And I thought integrating Iron Lad into the cartoon would be hard.
Why do you still have signatures turned on?

I didn't go into season two too much, but when I went into the Thunderstrike/Speed thing, I was just going to say that they were twins who were separated at birth (Billy was adopted, Tommy wasn't), and were both mutants. Nothing to contradict that Scarlet Witch origin, but nothing to go into it either.

Teddy's origin isn't as complex as that, but it still needs proper buildup, and given that he has absolutely no actual Hulk connections, I decided to drop that and make him more of a Captain Marvel legacy, so I could use the actual Hulk legacies.

I tried to keep the episode descriptions as blurbs, especially given the size of the pitch (22 episodes with full descriptions can be insane)

Sort of what you'd see in a TV Guide episode preview blurb. I wish I could have put stuff like Mettle surfing on the Surfer's board to escape the Negative Zone but there was no way to do it without sounding cheesy

That's about what we were looking for, but more wasn't a negative. I sort of used the Wikipedia blurbs as a model. A tiny bit more detailed than TV guide, but brief.

The Young Avenger Games starring Kate Bishop in a dystopian future where she's forced to fight for the enjoyment of Kang.

Might just be the hour, but Jesus just kill me now. I'm getting nowhere with this challenge. The only time my wheels stop spinning is when they sink deeper...
