Gail tweet'd it a while ago, and she's right. We do want Scandal back...provided she's not revamped into a grimdark (Hi Morrison_Lad!) party animal whose goal in life is to get into Hal Jordan's pants. 'Cause then it wouldn't even be Scandal anymore.

There are reasons that I'm sort of glad that some characters haven't been brought back in. The tonal shift of the DCnU would almost require them to be 're-imagined' in a manner that I'd just totally hate.

I don’t think most of the cast members of Secret Six are viable in the long run. Yes, the two minis, one shot and series was brilliant when Gail was writing the book, her run on the title along with various artists is a must read for any comic book fan. But every time characters like Scandal and Alice were written by other authors the stories were mediocre at best despite A list writers and artists doing their best to craft memorable tales. Yes I want DC to bring back ALL the members of Gail’s Secret Six run, a couple dozen people by my count, but only if Gail is at the helm.
