So, our organization made cutbacks yesterday...

and we lost one of the four in our office. Super guy, very smart, a little soft-spoken, but the nicest guy you could meet.

And despite 5 years of seniority and oodles of education.... HR gave him SQUAT to bump into. And now he has to grieve to have a shot at bumping.

Thankfully, I have enough seniority to be safe.... for now.

This SUCKS!

So, we're down to 3, when we have enough work for 6 most of the year.

When working at Callaway Golf we had a union. I couldn't bump for 2 of the 4 years I worked there. I always felt bad about costing someone else their job but it was an option giving to me and I took it.
