    He went to my junior high school. We both drew for the yearbook! Granted, he went on to artistic success and immortality and I went on to make this post, but considering his current condition I think that makes us even

    I read an interview of his, where he had thought about insisting on a meeting with the President, so that he could strap bombs to himself, and kill Bush, Cheney, and their wives, thinking it would make him a hero. He thought it would have been a very brave, and wonderful thing to do.

    Sendak was a hell of a bastard and misanthrope. I do not know how serious his comments were, but i hope that even in his old age and with his self reported hatred of all people he would never seriously consider doing something like that.
