Hasbro is doing shit with the trademark. And all the back story belongs to Marvel. They can't do any spaceknight shit right? Might as well sell him to Marvel is what I'm saying Hasbro should do. Is the point I'm badly making.

The problem is, if Marvel expresses an interest in Rom, Hasbro will say "if Marvel thinks they can make money odd Rom, there must be some value to him" and either jack up the price or decide they want to try to do something with him. Then they would start some Rom R&D squad that goes nowhere for years before being forgotten.

That's the old scenario, back when Marvel was alone. Now they're owned by Disney and guess who makes a lot of Disney's toys?

If Disney wanted ROM they could work something out. They question is wether or not they actually want him.
