The Mountain Goats. One of my all-time favs, and I always happen to be out of town with John Darnelle is in town (even when we lived in the same town, I'd be gone when he did shows). Cursed to never see, indeed.
Funnybook of the Week - I read 'em, I rank 'em. Based on nothing more than my personal enjoyment.

Twitter Feed - Just as inane as a blog, but shorter.

Beastie Boys- Had the chance to go during the Intergalactic tour. They were performing in Montreal but it fell on the date for my family reunion and duty to family took precedence. Now I'll never be able to see them

And seeing as I am a huge fan of theirs and they are in the "never be able to see them" category....the Beatles. For obvious reasons. McCartney, U2, and Coldplay remain on my "haven'ts seen them live but want to before I die" list.

Beastie Boys. I don't know why I assumed those three were immortal.

Hmmm.... I am going to say David Bowie. When he did his final tour, I was so busy with school and kids there was just no way. And wow I about had a fit. I knew I was missing something so special.

The Beatles and Led Zeppelin because of obvious reasons. I'll also say The Rolling Stones because every time they do have a tour, the prices are too high for my wallet. This most recent tour, the prices were too high and the closest the band was to NC was Washington DC and I had spent money to do the Heroes Con show. I am indeed cursed to never see my favorite band.

The Stones would be an amazing band to see, but yeah... totally understand what you're saying about prices being way too high. My boyfriend saw them about 7 or 8 years ago, and only then because a friend very generously gave him a spare ticket completely free (even though it had cost about £200)!

I think the highest price for this tour was maybe somewhere around 300 dollars or more. Some shows had 80 dollar tickets, but if I did that, I would have to go with a friend, get two tickets, get two plane tickets, get a hotel room possibly, and still have enough money for food and other stuff. To make things slightly worse, I have a Facebook friend that went to almost every show. I was utterly sick with jealousy at times.
