How much internet and digital shopping do you do?

Are you someone who has their groceries delivered through an internet shopping service, buys all their clothes from websites, gets digital comics, games, movies, music and books or do you still read paper comics, trudge through stores for everything, and get all your stuff in regular format, like DVDs, paper magazines and books and so on?

I'm practically 100% digital in terms of comics and virtually all my recent music purchases have been digital. I do sometimes buy Blu-Ray discs and my games are a mixture of downloads and disc games, mainly due to the absence of brand new games on Xbox Live as downloads. My PC games are usually from Steam. My magazine purchases have recently became all digital since I got an iPad. I don't get internet groceries as I've heard that a lot of stores tend to put almost expired stuff in the basket and the store I use tends to have an issue with stuff that is almost out of date. I generally look through everything to get the freshest stuff. As for clothes, I tend to buy a little impulsively and I like to see what I'm getting as I'm a bit odd with my fitting at times, due to not being terribly tall but being heavy. I have issues with mail and internet ordered shoes too and I prefer getting those from the store. I'm really wanting to get custom running shoes but I was too scared to buy them because my shoe size is really odd. I think my right foot is at least half a size bigger than my left and that I might need a wide fitting on my right foot so it might be worth ordering shoes that way from Nike's custom service, Nike iD but I've been told by someone at the Nike store that I'd probably be better trying the type of shoe I want to order on from their shelves as a non custom and then ordering the shoe to suit me. I might go to the store and order them there as I can get help with the fitting issues as I can order different sized shoes and know whether they'll fit perfectly. Nikes tend to need to be a size bigger than normal on me anyway as they're thickly padded.

Of the media I buy (books, music, movies, TV shows) probably 75% of it is bought online.

The exception is single-issue comics, which I still get mostly at my local comics shop, and most of my RPG stuff (which I get at the same shop). Trade paperbacks are about 50/50 brick-and-mortar vs. online.

For just about everything else, I'm still brick-and-mortar.

The only things I buy in digital form are MP3's and a couple of comics.

As to groceries, no. I live a block and a half away from the store, so that's not an issue. And I would go digital with comics if I didn't have an LCS a few blocks away, and one that has treated me very well over the years. I'd feel guilty not shopping there. I do get some comics from Comixology, though. But my regular, every Wednesday comics day is still taking place at my LCS.

As for pretty much everything else, it's Amazon, or iTunes, or whatever. I do still get Blu-Rays, but they come from Amazon. I haven't bought a physical CD in ... honestly, I don't even remember the last time.

I don't buy a lot of clothes, though I do need to update my wardrobe sometime soon. Stuff is starting to get pretty ragged. However, when I do, it's through catalogs. Though, I did go into Joseph A. Bank on a whim and came out with a nice tweed coat. But that's a pretty rare thing for me.

Shoes are another matter, since I need to try them on, see how they look, feel them, and all that. But buying a pair of shoes is a fairly rare experience for me.

Actually, quite a bit. The only bookstores in my neighborhood are used book stores, so I bit the bullet, got Amazon Prime, and buy most of my books, music, and dvds that way. I'll also buy clothing online, but less frequently than actually going shopping at a real store. (Which, as a typical guy, I do as infrequently as possible.)

Groceries and comics I buy at the store. The grocery store is about a block away, and I have two good LCS within walking distance with two more just a short train ride away.

The thing about the digital comics, at least on the iPad, is that the HD versions are incredibly, unbelievably beautiful. They look better than the paper versions. I had to get the last issue of Supergirl from Comixology, because my LCS was sold out when I went. And it just looked -- wow!

I agree with others on shoes, I like to see them in person and try them on before buying.

A lot of my entertainment purchases are now on-line. With a color Nook most of my book buying is digital. I like the ability to buy a single mp3 as opposed to a full album so my music buying is mostly digital. I bought a vacuum cleaner on-line recently because it was easier than driving around to a bunch of stores. It didn't help that the model I ended up selecting didn't seem to be sold in any brick and mortar stores in my area.

Christmas time I buy a lot of stuff from on-line sources.

Food I buy from my local grocery store. I'm just not comfortable with a delivery service for my food since I work screwy hours that would have me either asleep or not home during delivery hours.

Books are digital. Comics are a mix, I do some digital but most physical(I like browsing the racks). Other than that, I buy the occasional thing online, but most purchases are in person. I don't plan ahead too well, so waiting for shipping doesn't really work.

I buy from Amazon, but that's the only online place I shop.

I still go to brick-and-mortar stores and buy physical goods. I see the logic in digital, but owning the physical object has it's advantages.

I work at a grocery store, so natch.
