We met last October in London at a con where there was a scary amount of anime-related cosplay going on.
People say I'm in a world of my own. I call it Planet Karen.
The first time I met you, it was at Wizard World Toronto a couple years back. On the Saturday, you signed a Birds of Prey trade and I very awkwardly gushed about Lady Blackhawk. You liked my bright pink Batman shirt. The next day you signed my Black Canary Barbie. Once again I was awkward.
At Montreal Comic-Con, I was Jeannette, then Lady Blackhawk.
Next time you're in Toronto, I'll have Little Scandal with me, because she's awesome and needs to meet you. We will probably be in costume.
Seriously. Come back to Toronto. We have a theme park!

"She felt tears well up in her eyes. No more of that. She wasn’t some dumb kid being used as a lab rat anymore. She was Noir now. She had power. She had freedom. Fuck self-pity."

Wonder Woman Day at Excalibur comics in Portland initially 3 or four years ago, and Emerald City Comic Con the following year. I was hoping to see you again at ECCC this year, but couldn't get in due to them selling out.![]()
You haven't lived until you've seen Man-Faye in person.
Are you doing any other concs in the Northeast besides NYCC, Gail?
I haven't met you in person, yet, but I have been one step away by meeting Ethan Van Sciver. I've also gone taget shooting with Sharis and Hunter Van Sciver while I was still living in South Carolina in 2009. She had zombie target posters, which I hadn't known they had put out yet!
