Dream Project Genie

Oh dream project genie, will you grant me my wishes? I wish:

• That Gail Simone would write a novel
• That Warren Ellis would write another novel.
• ...And continue with Fell, because damn I loved that comic.
• That Neil Gaiman would write a book for grownups. He hasn't done that in awhile, and I kinda miss it. (Though I do love his other projects).
• ...And that it's really long. Like American Gods long. Longer even. Big, thick, long book...
• That Jo Chen and Becky Cloonan would combine their superpowers and make the most beautiful comic ever. EVAR! (Written by someone awesome, of course. See above list.)
• That the Avengers movie is such a huge success that the Gods of Hollywood would regret their cruel toying of fangirl emotions by allowing Joss Whedon to do a Wonder Woman movie. I don't care if he doesn't want to do it anymore. GRANT MY WISH! DO EEET! (Please?)

- The complete SPACE BATTLESHIP YAMATO, remastered, uncensored, and subtitled on Region 0 DVD.
- TAARNA: THE MOVIE
- DC releases Jack Kirby's unpublished SOUL LOVE and TRUE DIVORCE CASES.

Warren Ellis is writing another novel after Gun Machine.

For me: Multiversity to come out faster, and no fill-in artists.
Frank Quitely's Lobo comic to be released. Same with Ambush Bug Year None 6.
Ed Mcguiness replacing Rag Morales as artist of Action Comics.
Morrison And Geoff John's working with Mark Waid and Greg Rucka to do a DC/Marvel Crossover comic. Now would be the perfect time.
Garth Ennis to write a Spectre comic mini or ongoing.

So, Warren Ellis has a new book out today (birthday present!) and I found out yesterday that Neil Gaiman will have a new grown-up book out later this year. Thank you magical genie! Now Gail, about that novel...
