Hulu was pretty useful for getting new US shows before they were shown in the UK.

I like Hulu. It's well done, good video quality, good selection and convenient when I'm not at home. It's better than the network's own sites and better than illegal downloading. I'll still use it

This shouldn't be at all surprising though. Cable is just another of the industries clinging desperately to outdated business models.

The fact that cable's business is completely dependent upon customers paying for things they don't want to get the few things that they do want is ridiculous. I hope we get to a point where if I want ESPN, Fox Sports Ohio, and HBO I can pay for just those.
