    Oh, man, I remember that.

Kids would try to win by saying "pixpixpixpixpix" as fast as they could, but it never worked because the computer couldn't keep up.

Talk about blast from the past…

I remember Romper Room, Captain Kangaroo, Mr. Rogers. Any Torontonians remember Today’s Special? Oh! And let’s not forget The Elephant Show! God…this is like opening a can of nostalgia!

When I was a kid, I loved "Battle of the Network Stars." It was awesome to watch Gopher from "The Love Boat," Joanie from "Happy Days," and Tattoo from "Fantasy Island" have a kayak race. And it was the '70s so there were a lot of tight short shorts.

Bozo and Ray Rayner were favorites as a child. I used to know when it was time to go to school based on the Ray Rayner show.

My sisters managed to get into the audience for Bozo. The waiting list at the time was 4 or 5 years long.

I was just going to post about "Battle of the Network Stars", after seeing the first page of the topic, and was utterly but pleasantly shocked to find it mentioned on page two.

It was so incredibly entertaining. A few years ago (2009--I just looked it up) I had hopes for "The Superstars", also on ABC just like BOTNS, to become a spiritual successor (it paired up pro athletes and celebrities), but it never really went anywhere after that one season.

There was also a Reality TV version of BOTNS in the mid 2000's I believe (with Reality TV stars, I mean), and I think I saw like one episode, but it just didn't have the same appeal.
