    You're right, Vader didn't ever beat a top guy in their prime. An in shape Obi-Won, Jedi Luke, and the willy veteran Dooku just took him to school time after time. Sure, he took out Dooku in the rematch plus beat some names in the form of an old Kenobi and a completely green Luke. But otherwise he was just a can crusher that built a record against Tusken raiders, "battle" droids and younglings.
