I think started to read that run but lost track of it after a while. Sounds interesting.

How old are we talking about here?

I remember having a short conversation with glitterpill about Scandal Savage setting up shop in a lesbian bar - called SCANDAL's of course. Knockout & Scandal would be working the bar while Liana would be the waitress. Jennette would be there also - she be the hostess of the place. Bane and Catman would be working the door while Deadshot would be sitting back smoken a cigar. And Doll would be wrapped around a poll somewhere...

Red Wolf sans his old skool costume. Sort of a Punisher type on the Reservations. OF COURSE Lobo, his wolf, would still hang with him.

Well, honestly, I was thinking about the kinds of character who never seem to 'get any love' from DC.

I... don't think I'd put the Secret Six in that category.

I was thinking in terms of those characters that you love that no one else seems to and who disappear off the radar for decades at a time and only occasionally pop up... and usually then only to be cannon fodder in some big 'event' comic.

The idea came to me in another thread when I complained about how deep DC's 'back bench' USED to be and how over the years DC seems to have whittled it down and whittled it down until there almost IS no 'back bench'. And I miss that.

There used to be diversity of genre too -- it wasn't just superheroes and even among the superheroes there used to be some massively quirky ones.

So... that's kind of what I envisioned this thread for -- people taking characters that have a lot of unused potential and spinning out a new idea for them.

I just recently found out about Miss Fury and Harvey Comics' Black Cat. I'd like to see either one come back.

An espionage title, featuring people like Etta Candy, Steve Trevor, Spy Smasher, and a few others, all under the umbrella of a single organization. You follow the low-level agents on missions to infiltrate Checkmate and then come back to watch everyone play politics with the results.

Here's an idea for more genre diversity --

Bring back Adam Strange only make it an all-ages (TRULY all-ages as in not 'kiddified' but able to be enjoyed by adults as well as kids) comic with a Johnny Quest vibe. In this version Adam may be still *required* to travel between Earth and Rann but Alanna and Aleea willingly go along -- shuttling back and forth with him on family travels.

Strange travels between Rann and Earth with his wife Alanna and daughter Aleea having adventures. One week it may be taking Aleea on an archaeological dig in the mountains of Peru -- teaching her about her Earth heritage... and running into an ancient Peruvian monster which was worshiped as a god and which the digging has now awakened... And the next week it may be running around on Rann trying to stop an interplanetary dictator from taking over the government.

High adventure at it's very best with DC's first family of Science-Fantasy!

I believe at least two of the three Kapitalis Kouriers were killed off. Possibly the third as well. No idea about Chunk.
