Question: Would the people who have seen it recommend seeing it in 3D or regular D? Am I correct in thinking that it wasn't filmed in 3D, so if I see it in regular D it won't be too dark?

Saw it again on Saturday afternoon.

And you cant see a movie on Saturday afternoon unless you take someone with you who Saturday afternoon movies are made for

We saw it in 2D. All six of us HATE HATE HATE 3D.

It looked great. There were also no obvious 'made this shot for 3d' moments.

BrettC1: I'm sorry bro, but you got scammed.

That's not really Robert Downey Jr you're with there...

I saw it 3D first time. Flatscreen is just as good though some of the effects in the big battle are nice.

KJ!: Close though. It is a Jr

There's a slew of copies online already. Someone I know asked me if I wanted it on DVD this week. I'm really torn. I hate the whole camcorder bootleg thing. But it's the freaking Avengers!

I just got back from watching it. Since it isn't out in the States yet (can I be among those surprised that we Antipodeans aren't being screwed?) I'll hold off on spoilers till the Americans sart spoiling it, but my Thor what a great movie.

Also I got to sit in the seat that had Richard Taylor's arse during the premier of ROTK (fans of LOTR that watch the extra extended making of bits know who he is). The Embassy Theatre in Wellington rocks!

I wonder if Warner Brothers are kicking themselves yet for not letting Whedon do Wonder Woman,
