Oh, hey, look, Remender mentioned Cable making an appearance in UNCANNY X-FORCE:

2) Now that Cable is back and cured of the techno-organic virus, are there any plans for him to show up in this title? He did found the original X-Force after all and would seem to be a great fit with this cast as he has a lot of history with several of them. He also has no issues with proactively taking out the enemies of mutantkind.

You will see Cable during the "Final Execution" storyline. You will never be able to guess how or why, but Cable and Hope both appear and play a big role in the second act of the story. Same with Deathlok, the Punisher, and Warpath. Nah, I'm kidding. Or am I?

One can only hope. Wolverine could stand to drop a team or two, especially with him running a school now. And Cable needs something kickass to do now that he's back.

Ten bucks says Bishop is the leader of the new Brotherhood. Hence the Cable/Hope appearance.

That would actually be really cool IMO. I didn't like it at first, but Bishop ended up making a great psychotic villain. And too many X-men villains become good, so it was nice to see it work in reverse for a change. Just my $.02.

Bishop is from the future. This is a guy who can be continually renewed as whatever the current main future of the X-Men is evolves. Doctor Who the character. Have him play out whatever interpretation Marvel wants for the character. When that is all done, have him come to an end and then later, introduce a new Bishop that is now coming back to the present from a similar point in the now altered timeline, that will for all intents and purposes be the first for him, but not for us, or the X-Men.

I think there are lots of possibilities you can run with on a character like that.m Holy shit, do I like this idea.
