I saw the show tonight. It is OK and I'll keep watching although the show does bounce around a bit.
Happy Endings is the show that DTTBIA23 is replacing in E4's lineup over here. I think D-23 might do OK in that timeslot here as Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother and Two Broke Girls all seem to be doing quite well, while Happy Endings was apparently quite popular too. E4 has a great record with comedies and has probably got the best range of comedies of any channel in the UK.

I was prepared to hate the show, but found myself enjoying the past few episodes.
Which is a sign that I'm perfect for gauging whether or not a show is good. There have been so many new series that I thought were going to be lame or terrible, but turned into something great. Except for 2 Broke Girls, that show actually IS lame and terrible.
"Ah, morality. The last bastion of a coward." - Col. Ives
"You are what you love, not what loves you." - Donald Kaufman

"Deserve's got nothing to do with it." - William Munny
"Well He can shove His law up His a@$$, if just one word of it says I can't stand by my friend." - Jesse Custer
"Hey villain. You are history!" - Alan Scott
I thought 2 Broke Girls was going to be good as it was getting huuuuuuge hype on the E4 channel waaay before the first episode. While it is mildly amusing, it is far from earth shattering. I have to admit that the only things I really notice in the show are Kat Dennings' ridiculously large boobs.Originally Posted by stealthwise

I thought 2 Broke Girls started out OK, but then it kind of treaded water and didn't evolve past its ethnic-stereotype supporting characters and the story lines kind of treaded water. But I do like Kat Dannings.I think there's a better chemistry in A23, and just like the kinda-evilness of Krysten Ritter. Plus, she has a manga based on her! (in a later episode)
See its not a manga because its the wrong size and not back to front. Its also not a gn because it is a monthly book.
Hate me all you want, 95 % of the time I'm write.
Loved the tag at the end. "They let me slide down the pole when I need to impress a bitch." That was an epic douche line.

Interesting show. Have heard of it but the title made it sound like something I'd have no interest in.
Watched the season 2 opener on demand and really liked it. Is James Van Der Beek always the heart of the show? He was definitely the best thing about this episode. Thought the bitch character was annoying and not actually that essential. Maybe that was just this episode though. Will probably check this series out again.
Missed the most recent episode but I enjoy the show and catch it when I can.
