I dunno. Moffat's pulled similar stunts in other shows he's written so I'm not going to write it off. And he *did* say that Amy and Rory's leaving would be "heartbreaking" -- and this could qualify while still shying away from Moffat's seeming dislike of

PBS stations have been showing the old series since the early 80's and the new series have been on BBCA. Sci-Fi channel and I think they even ended up on PBS eventually.
