    Let's talk about Spider-Man Cartoons.

With ultimate Spider-Man premiering this sunday, I thought we could talk about the other Spider-Man cartoons from the sixties to now. For me, the Spider-Man cartoon I grew up was the nineties series with the laser guns and no punching Spider-Man. What series did you grow up with and what do you think of the other ones? For Me, I thought the mtv Computer animated one and Spidey unlimited were the worst.

I liked that in the 90s one all the different characters were linked together (sometimes to a ridiculous degree admittedly.)

Also, Peter wore a t-shirt and a sport coat with the sleeves rolled up. Classy.

I grew up with the MTV one, but Spectacular is my favourite by far, with the 90s one a distant second. Mainly due to hydro clones.

Ultimate looks set to beat all that has come before though. Maybe.

Spectacular was far and away the best Spidey cartoon, and one of the best super hero cartoons made to date.

I loved Spidey Super Stories on Electric Company when I was a kid. And the 60s cartoon. And Amazing Friends. I watched the 90s show Saturday mornings when I was fist teaching...

90s was my favorite. Didn't like Spectacular at all.

Loved the 90's Spidey cartoon. I never realized the censorship of the cartoon until later like using laser guns and the punching thing.

God, I love this theme song.

Yeah, it was quite harsh. Nobody could die either. Just be transported to another dimension or stop being a hydro clone.
