My Walking Dead comic collection 2003-2012..........

I've got 49-72 ready to sell, but I'm wondering if I should hold offa bit. At least until season 3 starts.

I was talking to my comic shop guy about the same thing and he said that he finds it's best to wait just before a season is about to start when selling stuff that ties into it.

Jumping on the bandwagon and selling off a few small bundles of my own.

Four bundles in total.

First bundle has #9-10.
Second has #13-18.
Third has #21-23.
And fourth has #25-42.

Listed them less than an hour ago and all four already have multiple watchers and one bid a piece.
I've also had a message from one person offering me £150 if I'll let him have bundles 1 and 2 on a Buy It Now.

Should be interesting to see how this plays out.

Considering I bought all 29 of those issues brand new for £2.10 each, I'm pretty happy with that return on investment.

so did you make less by not selling bundles 1 and 2 to that guy?

Totally thinking about doing this as well. I have issues 7 thru to current. This is just too much $ to pass up.

Yup.

Took a chance and it kinda backfired.

Though he did end up being the winner of bundles 2, 3 and 4, so I still got over £150 from him, but for different bundles.

There were only 7k issue ones printed and 6k issue 2. Er, sold. I'm wondering how many we're just tossed.

If the show does well next year you think the books will go up more?

Interesting thread, I've got the entire run, with #1-4 signed by Kirkman and Moore. I also have an unsigned copy of #1 somewhere.
I've got a couple of the variants they put out a while ago and the 1st print of the black hardcover omnibus, but I don't know if it's worth what it once was.
I've always hated CGC but now I'm wondering if I should have some of them slabbed.

getting a 50 dollar comic graded? Eh. getting an 850 dollar comic grade? not that bad of an idea.

I just dug out Walking Dead #19, Chew #1 and Invincible #1 and I'm thinking of submitting them to CGC thanks to this thread.

I got them back today. They were all graded 9.6. My shop is selling Chew #1 for $400 and Invincible #1 for $200 for me. I'm going to hang on to Walking Dead #19 until the next season starts.
